Where are the jelliebellies?

Monsters are often scary, except for the Jelliebellies. They are sweet and friendly. Jelliebellies hop from place to place and breathe colors into the life of the world. And, of course, they also love sweet food!

Inspired by my first experience of the grey and gloomy winter in London, I wanted to write and illustrate this story about the color monsters (the Jelliebellies). As I always try to weave my identity and culture into my illustrations, I decided to base the story in the Old Quarter of Hanoi–my hometown.
